Bodega Bay and Along The Way

Alfred Hitchcocks 'The Birds' has always been one of my favorite movies. Something about the setting and the mood (and of course the magical way he worked all of those birds, fake and real LOL). So in that light, Bodega Bay has always been one of my favorite drives. Nothing much there to brag about except...the beautiful views, the water and the food!

Honestly don't remember the name of this town but thought it was so cute!

Love this pic LOL...no she's not headless, just turned funny LOL

While you're there be sure to stop by The Tides Wharf for Lunch. The walls are graced with 'The Birds' history!  Now I've read the reviews and they aren't all great (mostly because of the price I think) but for me, I loved it. The food was great, there was plenty of it and the view was amazing.
I think it's definitely worth checking out!

A Monterey Day!

Monterey and Carmel, CA
Generally I don't go for Touristy spots but how can you not love Monterey Beach. It has everything you need to have a fabulous beach experience, Water, Food, Libations, Shopping...Oh My.
Since I'm a person that doesn't mind the cold weather I find I have more of a relaxing experience there during the off seasons. Still people there but not as dense as usual.

From a distance I thought that guy was real! LOL

I love how Nature recycles. Constantly creating more energy! Love!

Pigeon Point! A Birdseye View

I am so fascinated by Lighthouses. They are mysterious, beautiful and at one time an absolute Way Of Light for Ships and Boats. Today many are ruins or on their way to becoming ruins but there are still so many beautiful ones and I truly appreciate the people that put the effort forth to save what's left of them. I've visited many Lighthouses and am still mystified!

Pigeon Point is on the California Coast (on the Northern Side) about 50 miles or so from San Francisco and every bit worth the drive! It's a great spot to relax, take the good energy in and enjoy the beauty. They even have a Hostel if that's your thing (ok secretly I've watched too many horror movies to stay in a Hostel LOL but they were full so there you have it.

You can get very up close and personal but it's not open to go inside

The Queen of all I survey LOL Isn't this beautiful!
